The First Post: One World~One Heart

Photo

I have been putting off starting my blog because I didn't think I was ready as my business and the website are in the infant stages. I thought I would need much more to get rolling on a blog, but then I discovered this fantastic group of international bloggers and I couldn't resist jumping in to be a part of the third annual One World - One Heart event.

This amazing feat is the brainchild of Lisa Swifka - A Whimsical Bohemian. She invited bloggers from all over the world to unite and have a giant house-party type of event. It allows all particpating bloggers to get to know each other and strut their stuff while giving away great "doorprizes". Since I hadn't yet jumped on the Gypsy Caravan with my blog, I decided that I would make my very first post about it and offer a giveaway of my own! The community of bloggers involved vary in their experience and blogging level and are a very welcoming group. I have already met some amazing and supportive people through this fabulous event. Several of them encouraged me to quit procrastinating and just do it! BLOG

I don't have any photos up yet, but I will start my giveaway with some of my heavenly smelling Lavender & Chamomile bath salts. I will add goodies as I go and have a nice surprise box for the lucky winner! Hopefully I will get some photos up in the next few days as well.

All are welcome to enter. I just ask that you be sure that I have a way of contacting you either via email or through your blog if your name is the one drawn from the old cowgirl hat! The deadline for my drawing is midnite on February 11th. I will announce my winner on February 12th! If the winner doesn't respond within 48 hours, I will choose a runner-up. (Please note that the comments are on moderated status so when you comment, it won't post immediately. I try to get them up there as fast I can so bear with me! I'm still learning the ropes on this blogging business. Thanks for your patience.)

If you click on the pretty logo at the top of the post, it will take you to the main site for the event. From there you can visit all of the other great participants and learn more about the lovely lady who came up with this wonderful way to unite the blogging community. If you are a blogger, you can also find out more information about joining in on the fun!
