Sewn Giveaway Closing Tonight

Don't forget that my giveaway in honor of the launch of Sewn will be closing tonight at midnight(PST). One lucky winner will receive the Flower Petal Pincushion shown below. (If you aren't the lucky winner this time, they will be available for sale on my new Etsy shop starting June 15th.)

If you click on the Sewn logo to the right, it will take you to my drawing page and you can enter there as well as find more info on the Sewn launch. I will draw the winner randomly from the old cowgirl hat and post it here tomorrow, June 8th - which just happens to be launch day for SEWN - amazing how that works.. til tomorrow..

For your viewing pleasure, some kitty cuteness (and the beloved hubby):
Bugsy and Hammy's favorite perch in the entire world. (Can you guess where their names come from?)

Giveaway Winner!! Sew Mama Sew

Well, I had planned on using the good old cowboy(girl) hat method as before. But, I really didn't want to spend until Friday writing up slips of papers. I can't believe the amount of responses to this drawing. I have had so much fun reading them and hearing stories of others' memorable crafting moments. So many, like my own, center around family and generations of crafters & sewers. The comment section alone is a great read.

Anyway, since there were 359 lovely comments, I turned to the number generator from random.org to help me: (I don't know how to get the nice little box picture like some blogs have so I just cut & pasted the result here)

This is probably my big crafting moment, this year. I made the decision to make ALL handmade gifts this year and so far I've stuck to it! I'm also blogging about the experience at The Handmade Experience. Check it out and thanks for the giveaway!

Congratulations Emily! I will send you an email or if you beat me to the punch, send me your shipping info & I will get the mystery package out to you ASAP.

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments & please be sure to enter the SEWN giveaway I have running until June 8th. I'm giving a way one of my pretty little lavender-stuffed pincushion flowers.
