The Gardener's Morning

The robin's song at daybreak
Is a clarion call to me.
Get up and get out in the garden,
For the morning hours flee.

I cannot resist the summons,
What earnest gardener could?
For the golden hours of morning
Get into the gardener's blood.

The magic spell is upon me,
I'm glad that I did not wait;
For life's at its best in the morning,
As you pass through the garden gate.

  3. hi jules....someone told me the best way to dry hydrangeas, though they lose their color, is to leave them on the bush until they are pretty dry and then cut them. i realized that is the way i did it in the past. the only way to keep their color is to use the silicone. have a great 4th!

  4. Thanks Jaz. I probably clipped the batch I hung when they were still pretty young. I'll try it again with some of the older blooms. I appreciate the info :)
